A warm, nutritious meal is something most of us take for granted. But we know that for our neighbors experiencing homelessness, a simple meal is often the first step toward a new life. Our Good Neighbor Café provides over 800 meals a day to men, women and children living in poverty.

Our Downtown Campus location is open to the public daily for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner:

Breakfast: 7:30 am – 8:30 am

Dinner: 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Shelter

Men’s Shelter

Our Men’s Shelter provides safe overnight shelter and warm, nutritious meals to over 1,400 homeless men in our community each year. Thanks to generous community members like you, we offer holistic case management, Coordinated Entry, housing resources, employment services, life-skills courses and adult basic education to anyone who walks through our doors.

Located at 425 South Tacoma Way, our Men’s shelter is open to single men experiencing homelessness. Please call 253-383-4493 ext. 1106 or email info@trm.org for more information.

Shelter opens at 3:30 pm each day to sign-up for a bed. Roll call for guests will be at 6:30 pm.

Women’s Emergency Shelter

Our Women’s Shelter provides a safe refuge, meals, showers, laundry services, case management and more to women in need. And it’s all possible because of generous friends like you!

Located at 425 South Tacoma Way, our women’s shelter is open to unaccompanied women experiencing homelessness. Please call 253-383-4493 ext. 1183 or email info@trm.org for more information.

Shelter opens at 6:30 pm each day for women to sign-up for a bed. If the women’s shelter isn’t open yet, guests can go to our men’s shelter and sign-up there (see info above). Roll call for guests will be at 8:00 pm.

Adams Street Family Shelter

Our Family Shelter now provides emergency shelter, meals and services every single day of the year to over 135 homeless families. At any given time, we are working with 40 homeless families providing services such as case management, Coordinated Entry, housing resources, youth programs and employment assistance.

Our Adams Street Family Shelter is NOT open to the public. To inquire about shelter services and availability please call 253-383-4493 ext.1500 or email info@trm.org.

Clothing & living essentials

Thanks to community members and partners, we offer clothing and other living essentials for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

If you are in need of these items our Clothing Room is open on Wednesdays from, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, at 425 South Tacoma Way Tacoma, WA 98402.

In-kind Donations! Help us care for men, women and children experiencing homelessness by keeping our clothing room stocked. All donations are collected at our donation center location:
