Coronavirus (COVID – 19) Update

All Court-Ordered Community Service orientation is postponed until further notice.

If you are currently fulfilling your Court-Ordered Community Service, you can continue to serve. But, if you have are experiencing symptoms or have come into contact with anyone experiencing symptoms, we ask that you refrain from coming in at this time. In addition, if you are above the age of 65 or have any underlying health conditions, please postpone your service with us during this time.

Court-Ordered Community Service

All individuals looking to fulfill their court-ordered community service hours at the Tacoma Rescue Mission must pass a background check.

Thank you for choosing the Tacoma Rescue Mission to complete your court-ordered community service at! We offer Community Service Orientation by at our downtown campus (425 South Tacoma Way, Tacoma WA 98402) on a reservation-only basis. You must reserve your slot from the options below. Please note: We will not accept walk-ins more than 10 minutes after the start time.

Prior to attending you will need to set up a profile on our volunteer platform, which must be completed 5 business days before attending the orientation so we can complete the screening process. When you attend orientation you will need to bring your court-ordered paperwork so we can get you set up to complete hours.
