Giving meals might seem like a simple thing to you or me. But it's a powerful way to make a difference for a man, woman or child who is experiencing homelessness, hunger and hurt right now.

EVERY MEAL CAN BECOME THE START OF A NEW LIFE!
“Homelessness kind of transforms you into a different person,” Dakota says. “It’s all about survivability. You can’t go without food . . .people are pretty on edge when they don’t have meals.”
Thankfully, Dakota heard about the Mission and came here for the meals he so desperately needed. Those meals gave Dakota a whole new foundation and opened the door to a new life!
While eating at the Mission, Dakota learned about the New Life Recovery Program. He applied, was accepted and jumped in with both feet.
Because of Jesus, New Life is Possible
“It’s Christ-based,” he says. “That’s huge.” Through the program, Dakota was able to get sober and begin building a brand new life, free from addiction.
“I’ve gotten off probation. I filed my taxes again, insurance, everything,” he says proudly. While in the program, Dakota also got certified as an EMT and plans to start at the Fire Academy in June.
“I’ve been transformed into a better me,” he says gratefully.
